Please bring your friends and make some new ones. As always, gum shields are essential.
*Seniors*
The club is delighted to announce that outgoing manager, Joe Costello has been reappointed as the senior team trainer/manager for the coming year at the club executive meeting held early December last. Joe will be ably assisted by Eoin Sayers who joins the backroom team as a selector. We wish Joe, Eoin and the squad the best of luck for 2018.
*Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle*
Calling all cyclists, dust down the bikes as the Jimmy Duffy Memorial Cycle takes place Saturday, January 13th at 11:00am from St. Pat’s GAA Club, Blennerville.
The cycle will travel to Castleisland town centre and home followed by deserved refreshments, tea and coffee in Quanes Bar Blennerville. Enquiries to Maurice Hanafin @ (087)2998206 and George Poff @ (087)6814799.
Unfortunately due to the provision of Insurance and Ambulance services, a fee of €5 per person to a maximum of €15 per family will be charged on the day. Last year over 70 cyclists didn’t register and left us struggling to pay expences. Registration will commence from 10:00am. See you there. This is a nonprofit fun cycle led by various pace cars.
The celebrations will continue on Saturday night with anniversary Mass in Curraheen at 8pm, a music session in Quanes Bar, where food & refreshments will be served. Keep the date free & come out to celebrate the memory of local man Jimmy Duffy. All are welcome.
