Lotto
Our club lotto remains suspended in line with the Government / HSE advice at that time.
While this is a regrettable decision it is necessary to safeguard the health of our club officer’s lotto players and our many promoters.
We thank all our promoters and supporters of the St. Pats Club Lotto and we look forward to your support again hopefully in the not too distant future.

Covid-19 Education Programme for Coaches, Mentors and Players
Some key control measures have been introduced in line with public health guidance measures aimed at minimising the risk of Covid-19 transmission and every person involved in Gaelic games has a responsibility to adhere to them at all times. A summary of these key measures are:
* Education and awareness – ensure continued awareness of safety protocols relating to your role * Pre-attendance screening – All players and personnel will be required to complete a health questionnaire before attending games or training until further notice * Adhere to hygiene best practice – frequent hand washing/ sanitising, and regular cleaning/washing of gear and equipment; avoid spitting, sharing water bottles and wearing of face masks where applicable. * Observe social distancing guidelines (currently 2m) until further notice * Avoid or reduce body contact to a minimum – shaking/clapping hands must be avoided * No access to changerooms – All clubhouses, changerooms and shower areas are not to be used until further notice. Toilets will be available but on a controlled basis * Travel to and from training – if possible, walk or cycle to venue. If travelling by private vehicle, only travel with members of the same household. * Refrain from team meetings – eliminate all non-essential gatherings. Where possible, team meetings should be held outdoors or in spaces that allow for compliance with social distancing guidelines * Outdoor training sessions – all players and teams must conduct their training outdoors; there will no changing facilities available for same until further notice.
GAA Update
The GAA, LGFA and Camogie associations jointly released a “Safe Return to Gaelic Games” document last weekend, which reveals the phased approach to holding club and inter-county championships in 2020 provided it is safe to do so (please visit our club Facebook page for details). The key points of this document are:
* A gradual return to on-field, non-contact activity in phase 3 (29th June) of the Government plan in small groups of no more than 10 including players and coaches in one area of the pitch under social distancing guidelines. Adults can also begin training in small groups of 5. * The need for an online educational programme and new measures around temperature checking and completed documentation before training and games. * A return to contact sport on July 20 * Walkways on GAA pitches will open from Monday, June 8, in groups of 4. * Club pitches will open on 29th June – No access to GAA buildings and indoor facilities except to use sanitised toilets. * Juvenile and adult club championship games can commence from 31st July. * Inter-county training to commence on 14 September * Inter-county calendar to commence from 17th October * A full fixture calendar will be published in August.
Please note that all the above plans are dependent on Government approval and advice.
