Juveniles
U16: Our U16s were defeated by a good Skellig Rangers/Valentia team last Monday evening in Blennerville. Final scores were St Pats 1-05 Skellig/Valentia 3-12. They will play Spa, Killarney this Wednesday evening, the 31st of July in Killarney at 7pm. Best of luck to all involved.

Juniors Our senior B team had a good win over a gallant Milltown/Castlemaine side last Monday evening in Blennerville. Full time scores were 5-10 to 2-09. This was a rescheduled round 5 Junior Football League fixture and this win ensures that we will be in the semi-final against Keel with the winners playing An Ghaeltacht. We will confirm semi-final details as soon as they are out on our Facebook page. Well done and best of luck to Tommy Lynch and the panel.

Seniors
St Pats quest to retain division 3 status for next year was further boosted with a good win away to Fossa last Saturday evening in a round 10 fixture of the County League. Our first point came directly after winning the throw in with the ball worked up front for our captain to point over after 40 seconds. We added another from a free 3 minutes before Fossa got on the score board and then they drew level from a converted free shortly after. This was the only time the home side were on level terms with us throughout the match with both teams yet to hit full stride at this stage as there were a total of 6 wides kicked, a number of turnovers and a missed goal opportunity with just after a quarter of the match played. From then on, we moved up a gear and registered 1-05 within 9 minutes with our goal coming from our full-forward who capitalised on a calamity of errors by the Fossa defence to score from close range after rounding the goalkeeper. He added his second goal just on the stroke of half time to leave the scores at 0-03 to 2-07 in our favour.
We opened our 2nd half account just after 3 minutes when one of our exciting young players went on a dazzling run before pointing with his supposedly weaker foot from a tight angle. Fossa, in fairness to them, did not give up and were rewarded with a goal on 5 minutes from direct running at our back line and they added another 2 minutes later. Our 3rd goal came after 9 minutes when one of our midfielders spotted a gap in the Fossa defence and capitalised on it when he layed a high pass for one of our forwards to tap in which effectively killed the game for the home team, who went on to score 5 more points as we held possession for most of the second half to close out the game on a score line of 1-08 to our 3-12. Our round 9 fixture, which is a back game is away to Listowel Emmets this Friday, the 2nd of August at 7pm in Listowel. The team needs our supporters to get behind them in this very important game.

Congratulations/Best wishes
Congratulations to James Costello, his management team and the entire Kerry minors panel on a hard fought victory over Tyrone at the weekend. We wish them the very best in the semi-finals.
