Juvenile Academy

U6: We had fun in the sun this evening for Easter training and egg hunt. What a busy St Pats ground this evening! It was great for those who arrived early to see the intensity of match play! We had a short up beat training session with all the kids enjoying a good workout & coaches too!! We had a joint team player of the week this session! Organised mayhem followed with a team chick hunt around the grounds of the club. Teams did very well to find most of the 66 hidden chicks!! All were delighted with their Easter egg to reward them for all their hard work at training!

U8: Our U8’s had a great training session followed by an Easter egg hunt on Good Friday. It was delightful to see all the happy faces as they went in search of the eggs. There is a blitz taking place in John Mitchels GAA grounds on Wednesday April 24th at 4pm. All players to be there for 3.40pm. Academy resumes at 10.30am next Sunday.

U10: Our U10’s trained on Good Friday evening and all present put in a lot of effort during the session. On Thursday 25th April, the Under 10’s are scheduled to take part in an Under 10 Go Games Easter Blitz in John Mitchel’s G.A.A Grounds Tralee. The blitz is being organised by Kerry GAA and our first game is scheduled for 4pm and all our players to assemble at Mitchel’s G.A.A Grounds for 3:30pm. Further details will be issued from the Club in the coming days.
U14 Girls: We had our lowest number for training last week but the girls still put in a lot of effort throughout the session. Training continues this Wednesday at 6pm in the field.

U14 Boys: Our U14 boys travelled back west to take on Dingle last Wednesday with a very lean squad and were heavily defeated but they fought till the end and never gave up despite the daunting task. Thanks to Sean Daly and Tom Houston for looking after the team.
We play neighbours, Kerins O’Rahilly’s this Wednesday, 24th in Ballyrickard at 7pm in round 4 of the County League.

U16: Our match last week against Laune Rangers B was postponed however we play Churchill on the 22nd of April in Churchill at 7pm.
