Juvenile Academy
U6: We had a good run around this morning with 15 under 6’s, great to have some new faces & older ones returning. We’re working on small pitch matches, tackling drills, evasion & ball skills today. Well done to Clodagh Keane for mastering the solo today & especially well done to her younger brother Ronan for joining in & winning his first player of the week trophy!! Big smiles all round Practice your speed and agility this week as next week for our last session before our break we will have obstacle course races! Hopefully see you all then.
U8: Our U8’s had a great session last Sunday morning under coaches Roger Price and Michael Higgins. This was the younger group of the U8’s as the older boys and girls stepped up to help out our U10 team this morning in the fun game against Milltown/Castlemaine. Training was good and all the kids gave a great effort and commitment as well as displaying some great control and skill. Thanks to all who attended and we hope that the kids continue to practice with the ball at home during the week but please mind the windows! Training continues next Sunday at 10.30 am and then the Academy will have a summer break for a few weeks.
U10: The under 10’s from Milltown visited us on Sunday and well done to all our Under-10 players who played well in the three games that we played. Thanks to Milltown and their coaches for traveling to St. Pat’s. Next Sunday will be the last U10 academy session for few weeks as we will take a summer break. Academy sessions will resume again on Sunday 11th August just after Cul Camp. If you are interested in taking part in this year’s Cúl Camp details are available on the Club website at www.stpatsgaaclub.com
U14 Girls: This week’s pride of place goes to our U14 girls who won the Non County Player League Division 5B title last Sunday in the Centre of Excellence, Currans. Up against Castlegregory who had previously beaten us a few weeks earlier and with a few players missing, the girls who played had to dig deep to win this title. As always with this great team, skill, heart and teamwork were to the fore. Leading by 5 points at half-time, we were confident going into the second half. However, Castlegregory fought back hard, scoring 1-03 which put them in the lead. Through the hard work of many players, the ball landed to Keelin Enright who performed heroics to get the ball into the back of the net, much to the delight of her team mates, supporters and relieved mentors. Donal Rahilly, Kerry LGFA secretary presented the cup to joint captains, Lisa Rowan and Caoimhe Dairo. This is the third year in a row that this wonderful team have brought glory to the club. Team and Scorers: Emily Roche, Sarah Brett, Ailbhe Daly, Orlaith Murphy, Ali Lynch (1-0), Caoimhe O’Sullivan, Lisa Rowan (1-0), Keelin Enright (2-0), Labhraidh Costello, Caoimhe Dairo, Kayla O’Connor, Millie O’Brien, Siobhan O’Sullivan (0-3)
U14 Boys: Our U14 boys were defeated by a strong Austin Stacks B side last Wednesday evening in round 3 of the Central Region Competition. Full time scores were St Pats 0-08 Austin Stacks B 4-10. Credit to the boys who fought till the end and left everything on the pitch as we once again had no subs to bring on. They hope to end this competition on a high this Monday when they travel to take on Ballymac B in the last round of this competition. Throw-in is at 7pm.
U16: Our U16’s will travel south to take on Dromid/Waterville in round 2 of the County League this Wednesday, the 10th. We wish the panel the best of luck.

Juniors Our B team travelled west to play An Ghaeltacht last Friday in group 3 of the Junior Football League but came away empty-handed as they faced a stronger side. Thanks to the lads that tugged out.
Seniors
Our senior team resume their County League campaign when they play league pace-setters, Gneevguilla this Saturday, 13th July, away at 7.30pm. We will further confirm the venue for this round 8 fixture on our Facebook page closer to the day should the venue change.
