Lotto
Our lotto will be held on Monday night, September 2nd in Keane’s Bar due to Kerry’s involvement in the All-Ireland final, which took place the day before. Please check our FaceBook page for this week’s winning numbers.

Academy
Our Academy moved forward to last Friday because of the All-Ireland final last Sunday had to be cancelled due to terrible weather conditions. Our next Academy will be on Sunday, the 8th of September at 10.30am.

Juveniles
U14 Boys: Our boys were heavily defeated against a very good Na Gaeil side in the St Brendan’s League B final last Wednesday. Well done to our boys who as usual, fought to the end.

U14 Girls: Our girls got back to winning ways with an outstanding display against Listowel Emmets last Wednesday evening in Blennerville in the division 5 North Kerry league competition. We had 7 different scorers in this 12-a side game and this win qualifies us to play Abbedorney away in the Shield Final probably this week on Thursday at 6.30pm but it is yet to be confirmed.

Seniors
With Kerry and Dublin playing out a pulsating draw in the All-Ireland final last Sunday, the last round of the County League matches and our Round 11 County League match against Firies will now be pushed back by 2 weeks, which means that this match will be played the weekend of 21st/22nd of September.

Senior B Team
Hard luck to our Senior B team who exited the Barrett Cup last Friday when they lost to Knocknagoshel in round 2 of the same competition. Full time scores were 1-13 to 1-10.

Minor Football Championship
St Brendan’s minor team were defeated by East Kerry in the finals of the Minor Football Championship played last Tuesday evening in Austin Stacks Park on a scoreline of 3-10 to 0-13. Fergal O’Brien kicked 4 points (2 from play and 2 from frees) but unfortunately it wasn’t enough to see St Brendan’s over the line.

Senior Football Championship
Best of luck to St Brendan’s who will play East Kerry in round 1 of the SFC after the conclusion of the County League, which will now be pushed back by 3 weeks. This match will be played in Blennerville (date and time to be confirmed) with extra time to be played if required. Former St Pats star, Seamus Murphy is the team manager.
