U6: We had a busy session this morning with close in 30 players. Everyone was in high spirits to support Kerry! We worked on our flexibility & jumping skills, quick feet & running. Ball hopping & counting steps are coming on well with everyone trying hard & enjoying scoring goals. Great to have good concentration by some of the older boys particularly Bruce & the two Dylan’s today. Player of the week went to Clodagh for great listening & attention. Keep up the good work! Go St Pats!!
U8: The enthusiasm of our under eight players continues to shine at our weekly Sunday morning sessions in the Cumann Iosaef Hall. Last Sunday we had a very good attendance and it is becoming more obvious that some of our players are practising at home during the week. Great effort was put in during the session by Keelin Sinnott, Aoife Kennedy and Sharon Enright who was awarded the player of the week trophy…so well done to Sharon. It was good to see Niamh back in training and we hope to see Niamh at more of the sessions. Don’t forget everyone to keep up the practice at home.
U10: Another great session was enjoyed by this young group of emerging stars, with a lot of fun and games had during the hour. It is great and encouraging to see all the kids improving weekly. Training continues next Sunday at Cumann Iosaef Hall at 11am.
U12: The St. Pats under 12’s Boys & Girls were training last Monday and Friday. Everyone gave a tremendous effort practicing their skills with Rachel Mulgrew, Darragh Murphy, Jack Costello and Killian O’Mahony giving it their all during the sessions. With just 5 weeks to our first county league game It is important that ye all keep attending training so we’ll be ready for the games. We hope to see ye all as training continues on our Astro pitch this Monday 26th at 3.45pm to 4.45pm and again next Friday the 2nd of March at 5pm to 6pm.
U14 Girls: Our girls had their second training session last Sunday on our astro pitch. We had a good turnout in the cold but sunny weather where the girls further sharpened their skills. County League will be starting in 3 weeks, so we will encourage all our players to attend training next week.
U14 Boys: Our U14’s will be having their first training session on Monday 26 th at 6pm on our astro pitch with subsequent sessions on Wednesday at the same time and venue. Best of luck to Andrea, Helen, John and the team.
U16: Their first competitive game is on Monday, the 26th of March at home to Austin Stacks B in the Central Region competition where we are grouped with Dingle, Castleisland Desmonds, Austin stacks B and John Mitchels. Throw-in is at 6.15pm. Best of luck to Brendan, Dan and the entire panel.
